oh... i have juz posted my result today morning... hmm.. it wasn't brillant even not gd... but yet once again i am contented with wat i have. i passed my test!!!

hmm.. looking back my 1st semester in uni was cap 0, then 1st sem in biz was 2.25, 2nd sem in biz was 2.39, and now was 2.43.

it wasn't gd for most people, it is really a very low score. In a cohort, there is always someone who will be running the race last mah... No matter wat i have at least attempted to complete the race. Result might be part what life is. Haha... I had enjoyed the semester and have met new frenz from the classes. so yah... OK lah... The race of academic can be considered satisfying.

Told my dad abt the score, haha (can see he quite disappointed lah, but he dun dare to say out) Ppl tend to want the best isn't it so??? Haha... He wanted to sound like everything is ok, but i see the dissapointment is there lah... coz he can't compete with other ppl le ah.. he longer can hao lian ard le...

wat to do???

I can't be the high achiever le... I can only be someone from the graduation book n no one remember de. Haha... Being that low profile kid oso faces its cons. Maybe my parents shld juz place hope with my bro bah... He knows how to fight into the society more than i do... Probably more successful and planned out on his life than i do.

No matter what, i am still proud of my family n bro ...

Everyone exists for their purpose.

I believe we stepped into each person's life to teach and learn something from each other.

Then abt the food (pinic food was prepared by me, but i think it turned sour. so not gd for pix, dinner at bukit merah area or let say alexandra area... too hungry le, so no pix once again... then at coffee club we ordered beverages and mudpie. and once again we will too busy trying to avoid someone. so no pix once again....then nxt day breakfast of mac was somehow eaten in a daze. ultra sleepy so no pix) wahaha... finally my blog is filled with fun pictures of exercises replacing the food column. whahahaha... thanks carol for capturing the memory down. me no camera now, so can't do anything to take down moments. so rely on u guys liao. haha...

Gal Night OUT... Or Activity DAy--- EAT and Grow Fat OUting Proceed to SENTOSA...

Haha... juz woke up from my sleep after a day at sentosa playing volleyball (abit) , pinic under the blazing sun and photo taking until 6pm and a night of pingpong, majong, movie watching to morning at cheong's place. Wow... apparently i was very tired. the whole morning i was in a terrible daze. have to make a lot of them help me ard. i think when i was having my breakfast, i was sort of like sleeping mode. hehe...

looking forward for more sports activity planned. haha...

Somehow i would want to remember this day, it was a friday where i send my ah shun uncle off to heaven. He is one who treated everyone very well when he was wealthy and takes care so many of his relative. During his peak, he often would lend helping hand towards us and many. In fact, my house used to have some furniture belonging to him. Even when he is into bankruptcy and later falling sick with cancer, he still cares a lot for the one around him. Him passing away right after mother day might be an act of his filal piety. He want to spend his last mother's day with "po po" and do not want to see "po po" to run in and out of hospice daily for so many hours. And "po po" is already 70++ years old already.

For another example, when he was bedridden in some hospice left with just a few months life, he could still encourage my mum that she could recover the mild stroke when my dad bought my mum to visit him. He even make an effort to call my aunt and his family members to shower concern to my mum. That was a very sweet move. Coz when my mum suffered from the mild stroke, not a lot of my dad side relative know abt it. But ah shun uncle shared his concern and encouragement for my mum through all those small effort even though he was in the very sick stage. I hold my respect to u. My mum always cry when he think of his effort.

The funeral wake was rather sad. When i was at mandai cementorium viewing hall with all the relative, a sudden rush of sadness was encapsulated in the small room. Everyone was sobbing like crazy n such. I also had my share of crying until my eye was quite swollen. I would like to remember this day for my uncle.

Haiz, i realised a pattern that most of my deceased relative usually passed away in May. my ah ma, uncle, my granny, my dad's biological mum, my ah gong... Life is sort of vulnerable. Sometimes we can't really control.

SPORTS Week - MAY 08 Edition

hehe... back to a mini update for the week. Let me Recap some SPoRts that i have participated.

KICK BOxinG- Wednesday( but dunno y after the session, whole body is aching like crazy. )

Riding a magnetic bike like those exercise equipment - 5km on thurs, 1km on fri, 5km on sat, close to 10km on sun-today( hmm.. the equipment is sort of my birthday present, so gona continue my new routine. hehe...)

TeNNiS in NUS- fri we(cheong, me, aman n andrew) play a few hours of tennis under the afternoon sun. it is rather weird to be in school playing sports at this period of time. coz it is still exam period for some of the student cohort. i think we met some weird stares. Haha... anyway it was quite okie, since i didn't really play much. coz my leg turn rather wobbly from previous day de exercise... hehe... so andrew run all the way loh...hehe...

TAbLe TeNNiS at clementi sports hall- continuing our sports day activity from school. from Tennis to Table tennis. haha... play for abt an hour of indoor table tennis. but i can say i sweat more playing table tennis lah... which i think it is more productive for me. hehe...

VOllEyBall at sentosa- sort of back to normal regime or activity schedule. buttttt..... i guess i have took too long a break n not play volleyball... i felt very stiff playing volleyball, on top of that my whole body simply is not listening to me, so much slower than usual. as all ppl may know, i am already quite slow le. so u can think yourself that i might be moving as slow as a tortorise. haha... too tired. dunno y... but juz take a break for while....

heeheee. next time shld include more sports to my new sports week. hehe...

4Hour wait at a dental clinic

Today i brought my mum to the dental clinic at clementi. Due that we did not do pre booking, so we had to wait and wait...if we count cows, the cows oso go home liao"hehe, a bit cold!""

Hmmm... from this experience of plain waiting, i could said it takes patience to wait for long hours... or rather i am the type where i slack a bit too much coz i dun feel much for the 4hr wait. it is juz part of procedure... BUT my mum hor, after the 1st hour she was already complaining like crazy. Then after the 2nd hour, she say she dun wan to wait and wanted to go to another dental clinic. so i was thinking R we crazy?? coz we had already wasted so long waiting at one clinic. then wait at another one??? so i insisted we wait for another half hour...

Morale of story: Persistence to completion of task takes patience

Exam finally over

WAHAHAH... finally get a break after one semester... haven start looking for part time job yet. getting lazy and such

But i would find it soon bah...LETS ALL ENJOY THIS MOMENT of rest 1st...hehe...

Gona plan for nxt semester de module then.i think everything shld be fine and back to normal once again.

Hope that the sentosa trip can resume once again.

Sending her off the last time

oh this few days had indeed been rather busy or rather many thing i thought had some feeling drawn upon me.

first on tuesday i received news that my dad's real mum passed away. (to cut short the story, my dad was the given away child since young to the elder bro, so i have 4 grandma, and 3 grandad... --- one set of them is the biological parents of my dad, one set of them is my current grandparents, then my mum side my grandpa got 2 wife... so i have a rather complicated history). yupe back to the point was that i didn't go down to the funeral wake on the 1st day due to exam. so i only make a trip down on wednesday.

Oh on that day that i went down, the 1st thing my long time no see uncle instead of asking how i am...
He started off:" How is your uni result?"
me reply:" not very gd, juz passed loh"
he replied:" very hard meh, thought shld be easy, my son got 4As wor..."
me embarassed and not sure wat to reply: stunned for a long time then said "Ok" and move away.

Following that during the funeral wake, we are not close to this side of the relative lah... to be frank lah, the biological side of my dad are not too close de wor. purposely avoided the irritating real sister of my dad... she oso super like to compare ppl and step on ppl de loh. i remember years ago, she say that me and my bro are shit lah, can't study de. haha... so i didn't even bother to speak to her. simply avoided her loh. Anyway, during the service, she is oso christian if i am not wrong, so she can't go through the chinese "dong dong chang" service. so most of the time, she and her kids are sitting at the side loh.

Anyway my family of 4 felt very out of place. coz we are not really part of that side of the family. somemore if u r the given away kid right, not very right to take both side of descendant thingy. As my dad say to me" we are the extra actor in the session." juz send my biological grandma off loh.

Then when we are through the service yesterday, an auntie who is the wife of that uncle who spoke to me abt my result de. something suprising caught me really off guard.
Conversation started off.
auntie: " sihui, come over!"
me and bro walk over to her
auntie: " hey, u muz called my daughter "jiejie- big sister"
me: thinking that her daughter is juz 19 to 20 years old. like 2 years young than me lah. wan me to call her jiejie... i was rather puzzled...
auntie further explained:" my husband is the 2nd bro, your dad is the 3rd bro. so meimei is higher you by one rank, so u shld call my daughter and son "jiejie and gaogao"
me: super suprised... then i reply:"meimei so young, where want me lao auntie to call her jiejie... then she would sound so old."
Then his son try to appease and say:" juz call name will do le lah"

Yah, can see how strange the environment is... but anyway i found some lame excuse and escape...weird weird de...

yupe. so it end off today finally. back to video watching and studying for exam bah...
